This course focuses on developing new habits and techniques that will take your performance to the next level. Topics include stroke mechanics, alignment, aiming, the basics of collision physics, executing stop, follow draw and cut shots, breaking, using spin, throw, stun shots, ball speed control, position play, kick shots and effective practice techniques. A comprehensive workbook, professional drills and an in-depth video analysis of your stroke make this a must for new and experienced players alike. If you are serious about your game, you can't afford to miss this!

Pool Players Weekend: Building Game Winning Techniques
This course continues the process of developing an effective stroke, and
introduces new techniques including alternate aiming systems, using throw effects, how to use the tangent line, English, cue ball 'squirt', advanced game strategies, two rail kick shots, bank shots, cushion play, ball address, and shot selection. Advanced drills, workbook and video stroke evaluations are also included in the program. Students taking this course should have sound stroke fundamentals and knowledge of the major techniques and concepts utilized in playing cue sports.

Workshops focusing on specific games and advanced techniques are offered regularly. We recommend that students enrolling in these workshops have previously completed an instructional program with a BCA accredited instructor
and have developed effective playing skills. Deposits are required to insure enrollment.
Break Workshop: topics include developing a 'power' break stroke, reading the rack, different types of eight and nine ball breaks, and how to practice your break stroke. Participants will use break training devices and have their break stroke speed measured. If you are serious about improving your break shot, this workshop offers the opportunity to do so. 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM The cost of this workshop is $125.00.
Banks and Kicks Workshop: Are you tired of giving up a ball in hand to your opponent? This one day workshop is a must for those who want to take their game to the next level. We will focus primarily on two and three rail diamond and parallel shift systems. It is expected that each students will acquire the practical skills necessary to successfully execute these shots as well as a real understanding of the workings of the diamond system. Depending on available time and class makeup, we may also delve into four and five rail diamond systems or ½ table diamond systems.
Players taking this class should have a consistent stroke as well as some knowledge of one rail bank and kicking systems. Components and extensions of one rail systems, as well as variables affecting rebound angles, will be reviewed.

9 Ball Workshop: this workshop focuses on the skills needed to play winning 9
Ball. Topics include breaking, rule based playing strategies, push-outs,
offensive and defensive play, safeties, two rail bank and kick systems, special shot
techniques, and the mental game. 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM The cost of this workshop
is $175.00.
8 Ball Workshop: develop the skills necessary to play winning 8 ball. Breaking,
strategy, run out techniques, safeties, bank and kick systems, shot techniques, the
mental game and drills to improve you 8 ball game are covered during this one day
workshop. 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM The cost of this workshop is $175.00.

Billiard Congress of America Master Instructor Walt Zincavage and Advanced Instructor Roy Pastor will prepare you to become a BCA Instructor. This course includes how to publicize your services, how to work with room and league operators, how to develop lesson plans, how to conduct private lessons and classes, and a review of effective teaching techniques.
Recognized Instructor BCA Certification: This class will prepare you to teach the major skills and techniques used to play pocket billiards. Prior completion of a two day Players Workshop is a prerequisite for the Recognized Instructor class. Instructional materials and learning aids are provided. The cost of the instructor class is $350. In addition, a BCA fee of $100 is required for Recognized level certification.
Instructor Upgrades: BCA Certified and Advanced level upgrade classes are also available. The cost of an upgrade class to one of these levels is $350. In addition a BCA fee of $100.00 is required for upgrade certification.

Clinics on topics such as 'Stroke Evaluation' are offered during the year. These sessions focus on specific topics of special importance to players.
Stroke Evaluation Clinic: topics include stroke mechanics, alignment and aiming, pendulum vs level stroke techniques, tip-ball contact, spin and speed. Individuals are video taped and observed while playing at the table. An analysis of the tape and observations is provided to each participant. This clinic will provide you with techniques to improve your shot making ability and playing consistency.
10:00 AM - 1:30 PM The cost of this clinic is $75.00.
